Privacy Policy

How we handle personal information when you browse the website, contact us directly, or take part in an online learning program.

1. Who this policy covers

Quenell Faculty provides online professional training and educational support in business management and professional development. This policy explains the information practices relevant to our website, direct correspondence, course arrangements, and the delivery of our learning services. It applies to prospective learners, enrolled participants, people contacting us on behalf of a team, and other website visitors.

We began operating on 1 October 2026. The contact details at the end of this policy are the point of contact for questions about information handled for our services. References to “we”, “our”, and “us” mean Quenell Faculty. The website’s hosting provider and any independently selected communication platform may also handle information under their own notices and applicable responsibilities.

2. Information you provide directly

When you email us, discuss a booking, request educational support, or provide information for a confirmed program, we may receive your name, email address, organisation or role if supplied, the course you are interested in, scheduling preferences, and the contents of your correspondence. For a booking, we may also need billing details, the agreed service, fee, attendance information, and records showing the arrangement and its completion.

Please provide information relevant to the learning service. Do not send payment-card details, identity documents, health records, confidential employer data, or other sensitive material through an ordinary enquiry. If an accessibility adjustment requires particular information, contact us first so that we can agree on an appropriate way to discuss what is needed.

3. The course enquiry window

The custom course enquiry window on this website checks required fields and prepares a reference on your device. It does not transmit the entered name, email, chosen course, or message to Quenell Faculty. It does not create a booking, reserve a course place, or add you to an email list. The reference is a local note and is not matched to a server-side customer record.

The custom window does not write its entries to cookies, local storage, or a customer database. Entries remain temporarily in the open page and are cleared when the form is reset or the page is closed, subject to any independent browser autofill behaviour. To receive a reply, send your enquiry through your own email application to the address stated below. Information you then choose to email is handled as direct correspondence under this policy.

4. Information associated with website access

The Shopify-hosted storefront and its technical infrastructure may process ordinary connection information such as an IP address, browser and device characteristics, requested pages, timestamps, referring information, and security or diagnostic events. These records can help deliver the site, detect misuse, and investigate technical problems.

The custom Quenell Faculty sections do not add advertising pixels, behavioural profiling, or a separate analytics service. Other features of the storefront, its theme, Shopify services, or apps enabled by the store operator may have their own effects. Our Cookie Policy explains the distinction between the custom sections and the wider storefront infrastructure. The availability of privacy controls depends on the storefront’s configured settings and your location.

5. Why information is used

We use information received through direct contact to answer relevant questions, explain courses, assess whether a requested service is within scope, agree on dates and participation details, administer a confirmed booking, issue or reconcile invoices, provide learning materials, and deliver course-related support. We also use necessary records to handle cancellations or complaints, protect the security of our services, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations.

Where a law requires a legal basis, the relevant basis may include taking requested steps before a service agreement, performing that agreement, meeting a legal obligation, protecting legitimate operational interests where permitted, or relying on consent for a specific optional activity. We do not treat a course enquiry or purchase as blanket permission for unrelated promotional communications.

6. Service providers and disclosure

Information may be handled by service providers needed for hosting, business email, scheduling, online meetings, document delivery, payment administration, or record storage, to the extent those functions are used for an agreed service. The information shared should be limited to what the provider needs for that function. We do not publish a learner’s contact details merely because they join a program.

We may disclose information when required by applicable law, a valid legal process, or a necessary response to fraud, security incidents, or an immediate risk of harm. If another organisation pays for a learner’s program, any attendance or progress reporting must be explained as part of that arrangement. We do not sell enquiry information as a standalone product.

7. Online sessions and learning materials

An online learning platform may process a participant’s display name, connection information, messages, and audio or video the participant chooses to share. The platform used for a course and any participation requirements are confirmed before the program begins. Consider what can be seen in your camera background and avoid sharing confidential workplace information in an exercise.

Sessions are not recorded by us as a routine default. A proposed recording requires advance explanation of its purpose, who would have access, and the applicable consent or other lawful arrangement. Learner work is not used as a public testimonial or marketing example without separate permission.

8. Retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was received, the duration of an agreed service, the handling of related queries or disputes, and any applicable accounting or legal requirements. The appropriate period varies by record type; a basic enquiry does not justify keeping every detail indefinitely. When information is no longer needed, we aim to delete it or remove identifying details where appropriate.

Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to limit access and protect business records. No online service, ordinary email system, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. If you believe a message intended for us was misdirected or personal information has been exposed, contact us promptly with enough information to investigate, without sending additional sensitive data unnecessarily.

9. Your choices and requests

You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, seek deletion where appropriate, object to a particular use, or ask us to explain the providers involved in a service. Additional rights may apply depending on where you live and the law that governs the request. We may need proportionate information to verify that a request relates to you.

Some records may need to be retained to complete an existing agreement, protect another person’s rights, or meet legal obligations. If a request cannot be fully carried out, we will explain the relevant reason where permitted. Optional marketing preferences, if separately introduced, can be withdrawn without changing the delivery of a service already agreed.

10. International access, adults, and policy updates

Our business contact location is in Jackson, Mississippi, United States. Online services and their providers may involve access or storage in other locations. Where applicable rules require particular safeguards for an international transfer, those requirements continue to apply. Please ask before supplying information if the intended location or platform is material to your decision.

Our programs are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not intentionally invite children to provide personal information through the course enquiry window or to enrol independently. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us personal information may contact us to discuss its removal. We may update this policy when our services or information practices change; the date at the top identifies the current version.
