Cookie Policy
How browser technologies may be used by the Shopify storefront, and what the custom Quenell Faculty page sections do on your device.
1. What cookies and similar technologies do
A cookie is a small item of information placed in a browser that can be read during later requests. Websites may also use local storage, session storage, pixels, or similar technologies for particular functions. Some functions are needed to deliver a page or maintain security; others support preferences, measurement, or advertising.
This policy distinguishes the custom Quenell Faculty page sections from the wider Shopify storefront, its theme, and any apps that the store operator enables. The exact technologies present can change when storefront settings, apps, or platform features change. This document describes relevant categories rather than claiming that every possible Shopify cookie is active on every visit.
2. The custom page sections
The custom sections supplied for this website do not add advertising pixels, cross-site tracking, a separate analytics service, or a cookie-based profile. Their visual effects, navigation, course panels, and enquiry validation are handled by ordinary page code. Opening an FAQ answer or moving through a section does not require a persistent preference cookie from these custom sections.
The enquiry window does not write its entries or its generated reference to cookies, local storage, or session storage. The entries are handled within the open page, and a local reference is displayed after validation. No enquiry data is transmitted by the window. Browser autofill, extensions, or a device’s own settings operate independently of this code.
3. Storefront infrastructure
The website is intended to run on Shopify. Shopify’s storefront infrastructure may use technologies for delivering pages, keeping a session secure, remembering privacy choices, and supporting features enabled by the store operator. If account, cart, checkout, analytics, or other features are introduced, the relevant technologies may differ from those needed for this information-only page.
The custom page design does not itself establish that all optional storefront features are disabled. The actual configuration, installed apps, and privacy settings determine what is active. Where a consent choice is required for a non-essential technology, it should be offered through the configured storefront privacy mechanism before the relevant activity takes place.
4. Categories that may be relevant
Strictly necessary technologies support functions such as site delivery, security, or remembering a privacy choice. Preference technologies can remember choices the visitor deliberately makes. Analytics technologies can provide information about how a storefront is used. Advertising technologies can support marketing measurement or personalisation when such features are enabled and lawfully used.
The custom Quenell Faculty sections do not introduce the analytics or advertising categories. Any category added by the hosting platform, theme, or another enabled service should be assessed using the live storefront configuration. Cookie names and lifetimes are not fixed here because they vary by feature, platform updates, and the visitor’s interaction with the site.
5. Managing your choices
Your browser usually allows you to review saved site data, delete cookies, block particular storage, or clear browsing information. The available steps depend on the browser and device. Deleting or blocking necessary information can affect a storefront’s security, preferences, or other enabled features, although the custom course descriptions remain ordinary page content.
Where the storefront displays a privacy or cookie-choice control, you can use that control to set or revisit the choices it offers. The control applies to the features integrated with it and the relevant browser or device. A choice made on one device may need to be made again on another. Contact us if you cannot find a choice that you reasonably expect to be available.
6. Session duration and third-party services
A session technology generally lasts for the current browsing session, while a persistent item can remain until its expiry or earlier deletion. The lifetime is determined by the technology’s purpose and the service setting it. An online meeting or email service used after a separately agreed booking may also operate its own website and storage practices.
No embedded video player, social media feed, mapping widget, or external advertising widget is added by the custom Quenell Faculty sections. Our generated learning imagery is served as ordinary image files when uploaded to Shopify. If additional interactive services are introduced later, their effect on this policy and the required controls should be reviewed before deployment.
7. Personal information and changes
Some browser information may be associated with identifiers or other personal information by the service processing it. Our Privacy Policy explains the general treatment of website-access information and information you send to us directly. A local enquiry reference does not identify a person to us because the window does not send us a matching record.
We may revise this policy when the storefront’s functions or relevant practices change. The update date identifies the current text. You may contact us for an explanation of technologies associated with a feature of our service. Please describe the page, device, and concern without including passwords, payment details, or unnecessary sensitive information.
